Study plan

A week that survives contact with reality.

Roughly six hours of deliberate study across seven days, including two rest slots. It's smaller than most timetables students write for themselves — which is exactly why it tends to hold.

Monday

  • 15 min card review
  • 50 min lecture recall (Module A)

Tuesday

  • 15 min card review
  • 50 min mixed problems (Module B)

Wednesday

  • 15 min card review
  • Rest — no study

Thursday

  • 15 min card review
  • 50 min essay paragraph (Module C)

Friday

  • 15 min card review
  • 40 min past-paper questions

Saturday

  • 90 min catch-up on whatever slipped

Sunday

  • 30 min plan next week
  • Rest

Rule 01

Budget the week you have

Write down fixed commitments first — classes, work, travel, sleep, one social evening. Whatever remains is your real study budget. Plan to fill 70% of it.

Rule 02

One artefact per block

Every block ends with something you could show someone: recall notes, solved problems, a paragraph. No artefact means the block didn't happen.

Rule 03

Protect the daily 15

The short daily review is the load-bearing habit. If a week collapses, keep this and drop everything else.

Rule 04

Reschedule, never delete

A missed block moves to the Saturday catch-up slot. When Saturday overflows two weeks running, the plan is too big — cut scope, not sleep.

Exam term: what changes

Four weeks out, swap new-material blocks for past papers under timed conditions, and move the catch-up slot to midweek so mistakes get fixed while they're fresh. Keep the daily review unchanged, keep both rest slots, and stop revising the night before at a fixed hour you decide in advance.
